Information about us

https://www.eagatrust.com/ (including the members’ area) is a site operated by the eaga Trust which comprises two separate limited companies: the Eaga Partnership Trustee Limited (Company No. 03724739) and Eaga Partnership Trustee Two Limited (Company No. 03729659) (we). We are registered in England and Wales and both have our registered office and trading address at 3rd floor, Citygate, St James Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4JE, and we operate from 25 Main Street, Ponteland, Northumberland, NE20 9NH. We are not registered for VAT.

The site contains an enquiry form for business funding loans. Where the loan is £10,000 or under, it is provided by our subsidiary eT Business Funding Limited, Company No. 08026173.

Accessing our site

Our site is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or that your use will be uninterrupted. Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site, to users who have registered with us.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat that information as confidential. Uploading content to our site

Acceptable use policy

  • Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
  • Be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy any other person.
  • Be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person.
  • Give the impression that they emanate from us, if this is not the case.
  • Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse.

Suspension and termination

We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of our Acceptable use policy through your use of our site. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate. Failure to comply with this Acceptable use policy constitutes a material breach of these terms of use, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site.
  • Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of any posting or content uploaded by you to our site.
  • Issue of a warning to you.
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.
  • Further legal action against you.
  • Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.

The responses described in this policy are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

Viruses

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You should use your own virus protection software.

Misuse of our site

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. Applicable law

These terms of use, their subject matter and formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
