Location and Surrounding Area

Brynteg is located next to the beautiful setting of the Snowdonia foothills, surrounded by idyllic scenery and beautiful beaches.  The perfect location to explore the welsh countryside and coastal area.  Set between the nearby towns of Caernarfon and Bangor you will find plenty to explore from the grade II listed Bangor Garth Pier or Penrhyn Castle, the National Trust mansion set in beautiful grounds to the bustling market town and a busy port area overlooking the magnificent Menai Straits of Caernarfon.

There are lots of activities to do in the area; shopping, museums, white water rafting, paintballing, Puffin Island cruises, and if you’re keen on walking and outdoor activities there is Snowdonia National Park to explore.  For the brave, there is Zip World where you can experience flying as you descend the longest zip line in Europe.

Having a sea-faring heritage, the area is popular with sailing vessels, giving you access to coastal and rural attractions

Lodge Description

The Lodge has an open plan lounge, dining area, and large kitchen, which is equipped with crockery, cutlery, a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. The living area provides a great practical space for families with plenty of room for entertaining with double-opening patio doors to create the perfect indoor/outdoor space on a summer’s day.

The Lodge sleeps a maximum of 6 people.  The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room. There are two twin bedrooms and a separate shower room.  Please note there are no baths in this Lodge.

Please be aware that from September to the beginning of February each year, certain park amenities are closed or operate at reduced opening times. The Country Club and Boathouse Bar & Restaurant operate at reduced hours during the autumn months and remain closed during the winter. Other amenities such as the swimming pool remain open throughout the autumn and winter months, operating at reduced opening times. All opening times of the park facilities and amenities are subject to change and details of specific opening times will be given by the Customer Care Team on arrival at the park.
