The Sunseeker Sensation Lodge is a comfortable open plan Lodge situated in Windsor Holiday Park close to the beautiful village of Groomsport. With landscaped picnic and play areas around the harbour, sandy beaches, pubs, and restaurants. It is the perfect spot for a family getaway.
Groomsport village is just over half a mile away from the Lodge. The village is known for its unique setting as an almost unspoilt seaside village and for its scenic charm and tranquil beauty set in a picturesque harbour making it the perfect location for a holiday. With many water and shore-based recreation facilities, it offers many fun activities such as sailing and power boating. The lovingly restored fisherman’s cottages, Cockle Row Cottages, have guided tours to explore the rich maritime heritage and history of what it was like to be a fisherman at the turn of the last century.
The village has lots of local amenities with a good range of facilities and a good choice of shops, restaurants, and sports activities.
The town of Bangor is just over two miles away from the Lodge. There are 3 shopping centres in the town. The Flagship Centre, which is in the town centre on Main Street, the Bloomfield Centre in Bangor South, and the Springhill Shopping Centre in Bangor West. There are also many shops in the town centre, including souvenir shops.
The centrepiece of the town is Bangor Marina with many sailing events and short trips to Belfast Lough in the summer. There is also a funfair beside the McKee Clock. Across the road from the main train station, you will find Bangor Castle, a 19th century mansion which currently serves as the town hall. The picturesque grounds lead on to Castle Park. The Castle is also home to The North Down Heritage Centre, which features displays of local history and culture.
Property Description
The Sunseeker Sensation is a luxurious open plan Lodge. There is an open plan lounge, dining area and large kitchen which is fitted with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery, a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washing machine. The living area provides a great practical space for families with plenty of room for entertaining with double opening patio doors to create the perfect indoor/outdoor space on a summer’s day and a cosy fireplace with an electric wood burner feature fire.
The Lodge sleeps a maximum of 4 people with two bedrooms which comprises of a family bathroom, master bedroom with dressing and storage area, ensuite shower room to the master bedroom and a twin bedroom.
