Childcare Support

Get a helping hand with the cost of childcare

What is Childcare Support?

The Childcare Support benefit provides funding towards 13 hours of childcare per week for pre-school children aged 0-4.

Together with the government funding, this covers a total of 35 hours of childcare per week. This is available to UK First Generation Members with children aged 0-4 years and they must be registered with the Trust.

How it helps

Childcare support can significantly help a family by reducing the financial burden of childcare costs, allowing parents to return to work.

How does it work?

To be eligible you must have a government Tax-Free Childcare account and your childcare must be with a government registered childcare provider. A maximum of £320 per month is available, paid on a quarterly basis, on submission of evidence of attendance.
