The Child Education Programme India helps to fund schooling for children between the ages of 4 and 16.
In India, the quality of government funded education is low and schools do not provide any books or work materials for pupils. Alternatives to government schools are often the only way to access a decent education, with almost a third of all primary school children attending one.
Despite being neither exclusive or expensive, an overwhelming number of parents cannot afford to send their children to an alternative school. The Programme helps to fund access to schooling for Second Generation Members and is driven by the eaga Trust’s commitment to ensuring all Members have access to a consistent level of education.
Thanks to the Programme, Second Generation Members in India are now able to benefit from a level of education equal to that offered at a UK state school.
