Introducing GCSE Tutoring Support for Maths and English Language

Sixth form, college or university might not be for everyone, but if higher education or an apprenticeship is something you’re interested in, it is important to do well in your GCSEs – specifically Maths and English Language.

Studies have shown that most higher education institutions and apprenticeships require a grade C (or level equivalent) in both Maths and English Language.

For the first time since the pandemic began, GCSE exams have been given the go ahead. We want to support Members’ children who are about to sit or re-sit their GCSEs this year.

Therefore, the Trust has partnered with Kip McGrath, to fund up to 20 sessions of private tutoring in both Maths and English Language, to offer additional support in the lead up to this year’s exams.

Kip McGrath has been offering professional tutoring in Maths and English Language for over 40 years, and tutor thousands of children every day in either a face-to-face or online capacity.

As well as producing better grades, one-to-one tutoring can provide a more productive environment for students to learn. The individual attention received means your child can learn at their own pace and in a way that is best suited to them, removing stress and tension in the lead up to exams.

The sessions can be used as you wish, whether that’s split between Maths and English Language, or used solely on one of these subjects.

If you are interested in taking advantage of this new Member Benefit, please send an email (phone call or other correspondence will not be accepted) to contact@eagatrust.com with your child’s name, contact number and your choice of subject(s), and one of the eaga Trust team will contact you.

You can find out more about this benefit on the FAQs here
