The Forge, is a stunning stone barn conversion, situated within the quiet hamlet of Budle Sands, on the outskirts of the historic picturesque village of Bamburgh on the Northumberland coast.

The village has an award winning butchers, an array of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a village store. There is also the famous Grace Darling Museum and the impressive Bamburgh castle, which towers over the village, and miles of sandy beaches.

Within walking distance of the Forge is the wildlife reserve of Budle Bay and golden sandy beaches, which run around its perimeter to the nearby Bamburgh Golf Course.

The beautiful surrounding countryside of Northumberland with its rolling hills and sandy beaches offers so many activities; numerous magnificent castles, gardens and museums to explore, sailing, golf, fishing, walking in the nearby Cheviot hills and local bridal paths, theatre, horses riding, and there is also a health, beauty and leisure club with gym and swimming pool at nearby Seahouses. In addition there is diving, kite surfing, and your children can even have broomstick training at Alnwick Castle, the home of Harry Potter’s school. There are also many local events on throughout the year, and lots of other wonderful things to do for all the family.
